DESCRIPTION OF THE ROUTE "SWIMMING"

Departure from and arrival at the large beach of Puerto del Carmen. A distance of 1900 meters will be made in a single lap circuit.

There will be a liquid refreshment station (only water) in the bicycle transition area.

CUT-OFF TIME SWIMMING HALF – 09:45 hours

DESCRIPTION OF THE ROUTE "CYCLING"

No Drafting (It is NOT allowed to go to the wheel)

  • Departure from the transition park along Avenida de las Playas in the direction of Calle Norway.
  • Go up Norway Street until it joins the LZ-40.
  • Once incorporated into the LZ – 40 towards the airport to the turning point.
  • Once we have made the turn, we head towards the Toro roundabout and pass the turning point until joining the ascent of the Hoya Limpia path.
  • We follow the indications until joining the LZ – 501.
  • We pass Conil, Tegoyo and arrive at the intersection with the LZ – 30.
  • Once we join the LZ – 30 towards Masdache we are inside the circuit.
  • At Bodega Testeina we find the first supply station.
  • We continue in the direction of La Florida until we reach just before the exit to Calle Calderetas in San Bartolomé, where the turning point is located.
  • We return along the LZ – 30 towards Masdache until we reach the intersection with the LZ – 56 towards Tinguatón. Before entering Tinguatón we have the next turning point and we find the second aid station.
  • We return along the LZ – 56 until the intersection with the LZ – 30 and we join in the direction of La Geria. Before Bodega Stratus we find the third turning point.
  • We continue along the LZ-30 in the direction of Masdache.
  • When we reach the intersection with the LZ – 501 we will have completed the first lap of the circuit.
  • We do the same route to complete the second lap.
  • When we pass the third turning point, we continue until the intersection of the LZ – 30 with the LZ – 501 and we leave in the direction of Conil.
  • We make the return journey until we reach the exit to the roundabout of Rancho Texas (Norwegian Street), we will take the exit to return through Norway Street and Las Playas Avenue to the transition park.

2 laps of the LZ – 30 and LZ – 56 circuit.

HALF CYCLING CUT-OFF TIME – 1:30 p.m.
DEPENDING ON THE WEATHER CONDITIONS THAT WILL BE PRESENTED ON THE DAY OF THE TEST, THE SWIMMING COURSE TO BE CARRIED OUT WILL BE DECIDED. THAT IS WHY WE LEAVE AT YOUR DISPOSAL THE 3 POSSIBLE OPTIONS TO CARRY OUT:

DESCRIPTION OF THE ROUTE “HALF RACE DISTANCE ON FOOT”
  • Departure from the transition park along Avenida de las Playas in the direction of Calle Norway along the bike lane (through the lane on our left).
  • Once we have passed the intersection of Calle Norway, we run along the asphalt (in the lane to our left) until we reach the turning point located on Avenida de las Playas in front of the Costa Mar Shopping Center.
  • We return in the same way by the opposite lane to the one we left until we reach the turning point located before the finish line.
  • We turn around and start the second lap.
  • Once the second lap is complete we make the turn and start the third lap.
  • Once the third is completed we make the turn and start the fourth lap.
  • Once the fourth lap is complete, we do not make the turn and enter the finish line.

4 laps of the Avenida de Las Playas circuit.

The refreshment station will be located at the height of the Dolomiti Ice Cream Parlor, being able to take refreshment stations both on the way out and on the way back from the circuit. In total there will be 8 aid stations to complete the 20 kilometres:

1st. 1.1 kilometer

2nd. 4.1 kilometer

3rd. 6.1 kilometer

4th. 9.1 kilometer

5th. 11.1 kilometer

6th. 14.1 kilometer

7th. 16.1 kilometer

8th. 19.1 kilometer
